Ubisoft’s pirate title has been rated on ESRB after doing the same in South Korea and Brazil.
It looks like it’s really close until Skull and Bones finally goes on sale. The pirate title from Ubisoft has been drifting for a very long time, but has recently started going through the age rating agencies of different territories (first South Korea and then Brazil).
This usually indicates that a release is closer than we think, an idea that is reaffirmed by the ESRB age rating, the North American agency. In it we see that it has received a Mature rating for the inclusion of blood, profanity, suggestive themes or use of drugs and violence.
PS4 and One versions are not listed.Still, the highlight is again that it is listed for PC, Stadia, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, which would confirm that. Skull & Bones would not be released on PS4 and Xbox One.. It is understandable for what has lengthened the development, but it is still surprising since it was announced for those platforms at the time.
While waiting to know more about it, and although we already know that it will have in-game purchases and microtransactions, it is expected that Skull & Bones. is expected to be launched before March 2023according to the forecasts of Ubisoft’s latest financial report. In the meantime, it will continue to evolve thanks to the feedback received in the various closed betas that are underway.
