A little over a week ago, we informed you that Sony had released a new PlayStation 5 model called CF1-1200 which, among other things, evidenced a reduction in weight compared to previous designs, being 300 and 500 grams lighter in the version with reader and digital respectively.
However, the youtuber Austin Evans has had access to the new model and has been dedicated to open it completely to make a comparison in relation to the previous ones. Sony has also moved several components around and, for example, we see that the CMOS battery is now completely hidden under the heatsink, and the SSD case does not have a PCB along its length, but instead features exposed metal.
