Elden Ring’s curiosities seem inexhaustible, and it’s largely due to the fans’ impetus to discover new things. We have already seen that the title of FromSoftware features implausible stories, but there are also minor details that are striking to say the least.
A passionate fan of the game has shared an image with the community showing that he has played 999 hours, 59 minutes and 59 secondsa tremendous figure considering that the main story can be completed in about 60 hours, although it goes beyond a hundred with the extra content.

What’s most remarkable about this is that the player in question has played more than that, but Elden Ring’s counter cannot register more hours.so the clock stops before reaching 1,000. Surely no one at FromSoftware expected anyone to be able to do that, since it means having played around seven and a half hours a day since launch.
While the development studio is no stranger to such curiosities, Hidetaka Miyazaki is more surprised by the fact that Elden Ring is a commercial success. In fact, according to analysts’ forecasts, it may end 2022 as the best-selling game of the year.
